Hitchin Town Football Club pipped at post in second pre-season friendly

Hitchin Town Football Club is gearing itself up for the start of the new season by playing a couple of friendly pre-season matches.

So far, even though they are playing 'good attacking' football according to their manager Carl Williams they have lost both matches against Stevenage and then Bedford yesterday.

Does this mean that Hitchin has some work to do to bring about a fruitful season or will these warm up matches manage to iron out the wrinkles in the teams abilities?

Only time will tell when the season finally 'kicks' off.
