Stopped for lunch here today.

There was plenty of parking available but only one disabled space - could do with a couple more.

Once inside the bar area was clean and tidy and the bar staff were friendly. The member of staff that served us was well informed and knew the food menu and offers available instantly.

Decided to try the 2 meals for £10 deal. With two drinks, a shared starter and 2 meals (£10) the bill came to just over £20.

The food was delivered quickly and the waiting staff were all pleasant and helpful. The food itself was well cooked, simple food.

This pub is child friendly so if your looking for a quiet and intimate meal during the day then this is not the one for you.

There is a play area and outdoor garden for those summer months and the pub has set out a designated smoking area.

Ideally placed on the outskirts of Hitchin so you don't have to drive through the town centre to get to it.
