More than a Pub!
I must agree with you Lestat, The roast at the Chequers is absolutely delicious and don't even get me started on the bangers and mash! The atmosphere is always warm and vibrant. The Chequers pub is a true Hitchen Gem!

Best Sunday roasts at Chequers Pub!
I came here for a Sunday roast and Im glad I did because I was told that Chequers do the best Sunday roasts in all the land, I thought this may have been a slight exaggeration, but I am inclined to agree with them now actually.
They served all afternoon from about 12-5 and not only did they have the usual chicken, pork, beef and lamb, but they also had the choice of Breast of Duck in a red wine & rosemary sauce.
I opted for my usual chicken, but can honestly say that it was one of the best roasts Ive ever had. Roll on next Sunday!
