Euro MP urges North Herts residents to go to Black Squirrel Credit Union

Euro MP Richard Howitt is urging residents of North Herts to take their money away from the high street banks and put their savings into the Black Squirrel Credit Union.

The Black Squirrel Credit Union is a non profit making savings and loans Co-operative open to all North Herts residents. With the president of the Credit Union being District Councillor Martin Steans (Bearton Ward), Richard Howitt feels that those that have trusted the high street banks and have suffered from the recent buy outs and mergers will find a more favourable service from a  localised Co-operative that understands its clients needs better than the big 'money grabbing' banks.
