Now that Woolies is no more...where do you buy your school stuff?

Everybody knows that when its time to return to school the first port of call used to be Woolies for all of those stationary items for your pencil case and parents knew they could get shirts, skirts and trousers to start the school year in a new uniform.
But now that Woolies has shut down in Hitchin where is everybody getting those essential bits and bobs for the new school year?
The first place most people seem to gravitate towards is WH Smith on Bancroft. Even though this is smaller than its counterparts in Stevenage and Luton, Smiths has always has a good selection of stationery to choose from. But where is everyone getting their new uniforms from?
With Hitchin being known for the boys and girls school they both have enlisted the help of Hawkins to supply all new and existing pupils with the required uniform. Hawkins is located on Bucklersbury, opposite the Post Office and their staff know the exact uniform requirements for all of the schools in Hitchin.
This is definitley one time of the year that Woolworths will truly be missed.
