A community conference is being held at the Spirella Building in Letchworth on Monday the 11th of October.
With two guest speakers interested parties are recommended to book their free seat early as the last conference was very busy.
The speakers will discuss the concept of 'Big Society' working in North Herts.
Cllr Tricia Cowley, North Herts District Council’s
Portfolio Holder for Community Engagement, said: “The Annual Community
Conference is an opportunity to showcase the work of the local
voluntary and community sector in North Hertfordshire. The Big Society
is going to affect us all, whether we are part of statutory
organisations or voluntary groups. This meeting is an ideal chance to
find out more.”
The North Hertfordshire Partnership brings together public, private,
voluntary and community organisations to improve the quality of life
for everyone in North Herts.
