Officers from Hitchin Safer Neighbourhoods Team will be visiting a number of roads in the town next week to find out what local issues residents would like police to focus on.

Hitchin officers from the safer neighbourhood team will be talking to residents about the recent convictions of three drug dealers
The 'Street Meets' will be happening from Wednesday until Saturday (February 9).
Officers will be visiting homes with information about the conviction of three drug dealers in Hitchin recently – they were all sentenced to a total of 20 and a half years in prison for supplying Class A drugs. They were:
- Anthony Lidder, 24, formerly of Chaucer Way, Hitchin – sentenced to nine and a half years
- Samuel Turner, 24, formerly of Woolgrove Road, Hitchin – sentenced to five years
- Thomas Norton, 26, formerly of Baldock, sentenced to six years
Safer Neighbourhood Sergeant Guy Westwood said: "As a team, we feel it's important to come out and engage with the local community.
"The convictions of these three dealers was down to intelligence we received – and we want to show the public we can't do our jobs without information that comes from them.
"We also want to ask residents if they have any other local concerns. This is a good way of helping us set local policing priorities for the future."
